The First Wonder Woman Trailer Is Just As Good As We Hoped

Warner Bros. and DC released the first trailer for Wonder Woman’s first title film (aptly named Wonder Woman) at San Diego Comic-Con during their panel on Saturday.

The trailer premiered to a room of thousands of Hall H attendees, and the rest of the world saw it very soon afterwards. Most Wonder Woman fans have high expectations for her first title film, considering all of the goodies we’ve been treated to over the past year, including how fantastic she was in DC’s contentious Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. And by most accounts, Wonder Woman’s first trailer has met, and even exceeded, expectation.

People. Are. Stoked.

Without further ado, here is the film’s first official trailer:

Is anyone else finding it really hard to breathe? Anyone else have goosebumps? Wow!

Sidenote: “What I do is not up to you” is the line I wish so many other bad ass female characters said when her male counterpart says “I can’t let you do this”. I fist pumped so hard. The woman power just in this trailer is through the entire roof.

Another sidenote: I could watch Themysciran warrior women in ancient Greek armor battle 20th century soldiers all day long. Along with any fight scene that Zack Snyder gets his hands on. (And he did get his hands on the fight scenes in Wonder Woman, by the way.)

Wonder Woman stars Gal Gadot, Chris Pine, Robin Wright, Lucy Davis, and Connie Nielsen. Patty Jenkins directed the film and, as a matter of fact, she will be one of the very few female directors in film history to be at the helm of a live-action blockbuster with a $100 million budget.

Look for Wonder Woman in theaters on June 2, 2017!
