Neverwhere follows Richard Mayhew (James McAvoy) who, through an act of kindness, gets erased from his existence in London and his entrance into the mystical, magical, and utterly unsafe London Below. London Below is filled with the people who’ve fallen through the cracks of society: the lost, the forgotten, the invisible. It is a subterranean London, but time and space aren’t necessarily the same down here.
Richard accompanies the mysterious Lady Door, and her even more mysterious companions, the dangerous bodyguard Hunter and the oily Marquis de Carabas, on a quest deep into this new and unseen world pursued by the fiendish assassins Mr Croup and Mr Vandemarr. Tune in and find out if they survive.
So, get the book, download it, read it, and listen in on BBC Radio 4 to an incredible story written by one of today’s best authors, and portrayed by some of today’s best actors. Don’t miss it.
