The first full-length trailer for Fox’s upcoming Gotham has hit the interwebs.

The show, greenlit by the network yesterday for at least 13 episodes, will follow the stories of the heroes and villains that made Gotham famous. It will mainly deal with James Gordon (Ben McKenzie) and his rise to police commissioner, but viewers will be introduced to the people that will become the Riddler (Cory Michael Smith), Penguin (Robin Lord Taylor), Catwoman (Camren Bicondova) and more along the way. In the trailer, we also get our first glimpse of the boy that will become Batman, Bruce Wayne (David Mazouz). It will also star Donal Logue as Detective Harvey Bullock and Jada Pinkett Smith as a new character, gangster Fish Mooney, as the series looks to reveal a chapter in the Batman story than has yet to be told.

Absolutely in love with this trailer. Looking so good. Was looking forward to an Alfred appearance, though, as I had read that Jeremy Irons was cast as the butler. Can’t wait for this series.

This can go 1 of 2 ways. 1. It can go awesome and the acting and writing go well and they go for like 6 seasons. 2. It will go bad and even though the acting was not bad the ratings was not good enough to keep it around like Almost Human and The Tomorrow People.
