Doctor Who is Getting Its Own Lego Set!

Lego and the BBC have revealed the creation of the first-ever official Doctor Who playset.

Remember the Lego Ideas platform that allows fans to submit concepts for new sets, including the Research Institute last year? The new Doctor Who set came about the same way!

The set was conceived by Andrew Clarke and posted on Lego Ideas last February. While he was not the first to propose a Doctor Who collection, his was the first approved.

Clarke’s design idea featured a range of Doctors, companions, and foes, but fans will have to wait until later this year when the set is released to see exactly what was produced.

Along with the Doctor Who set, a WALL-E set was also approved and will be made later this year, too.

Check out the video announcing the new sets, plus Clarke’s concept photos below!
