I’m not one to believe individuals should be placed on monuments. But I do believe that when one receives credit for good deeds and acts of kindness, and yet is still humble enough to admit that they didn’t do it on their own and most importantly gives that credit to the God that has allowed them the dream, ability, and resources to accomplish wonderful feats that help others-well that is proof of God’s love and something to be celebrated! Especially in an industry like yours and a world that can make it uncomfortable to do so. You’re open to speaking about your faith and don’t make the atmosphere uneasy for anyone who may not believe what you believe- which is a refreshing balance on its own.
As a human, allot of what we know is what we see. We’re hardly going to get the chance to have deep and meaningful conversations with everyone…but our actions and our lifestyles are how we most obviously reach others and show people who we are and what we stand for. And it seems like you’ve acknowledged and accepted that responsibility. And that’s not always easy. It’s actually laughable how uneasy life can be at times…
And in order to be able to have Love and compassion for people like God unconditionally has for us I personally take advantage of seeing people like you who do kind things when they’re afforded the opportunity to; and simply because they can. Also, the lady behind the bakery counter who never seizes to have a smile on her face, and the older couple who walked into my store the other day sharing the secrets to a happy long life with me, and the mother and daughter who seemed to be having a blast just to be in each other’s company. To see joy and kindness and passion and laughter-this is what humanity looks like in its finest hour. So thank you…for being someone who passes it on.
And thank you to all the individuals apart of The Nerd Machine and Operation Smile that pass it on too! 😀
Not very often I get to be the first comment!! I have loved Zach Levi since Chuck, and even more now 🙂 meeting you is on my bucket list so eventually….until next time!
I still love Sarah Walker and Chuck together and nothing will going to change that. 💗
I just LOOOVVVEEE Zach! I watched Chuck when it aired, and enjoyed it with my son. It was our bonding time. Recently, I’ve been home recovering from carpal tunnel surgery and I rediscovered Chuck. I binge watched it for 3 days and felll inlove all over again with the show!! Zachary has a sweet, charming ‘aw chucks’ disposition that you can’t help but fall inlove with him! Please make a movie!!!! My son is an adult with his own life now, mama misses her lil boy. So maybe , if you made a Chuck movie, we can bond again. Love you Chuck!!!
Love your work Zach really really do! Thank you for being such a brilliant role model for me. Thank you.
I recently discovered Chuck on Netflix, (I know, I’m late to the party), actually after talking about you, Zach during my Monday night Bible study, don’t even remember how the topic came up but, my friend brought your picture up on her phone and I thought, wow, he’s really handsome and a Christian in Hollywood too, that’s very cool! Anyway, really enjoyed the series and learning about you and your other work. I lost my husband a year ago this coming Friday and “Chuck” has been keeping me company lately, night time is the hardest time for me sometimes, you remind me a lot of my late husband who would have made a great actor had he decided to go that route, he chose to become a drafter and worked for NASA, I miss him. Anyway, thank you for your heart, compassion and for being so genuine.
The above comments are all a testimony to the person you are Mr. Zachary Levi, you are, I think an old time soul…the whole world needs more of you in it, I had the opportunity to see you in conversations for a cause 2014, and got to get my picture with you too…you a beautiful inside and out….thanks for loving God, Jesus and not being afraid or ashamed to talk about it….but mostly showing it in your actions…
